Please remember my Uncle Clayton (dad's brother) he had hearth cath this morning. He has four block arteries and we are waiting for conformation on when heart surgery will be performed. Should be rather soon one has 99% blockage.

Christmas Memories

I know it's a little late but yes I did decorate and we did have CHRISTmas at our house this year. Since it came upon us so quickly I didn't decorate as much as I usually do. Hope your year was blessed.

Update on Prayer Request

Uncle Donnie got to come home yesterday. He will have to return to hospital on Friday, so just continue to pray for him. God has truly blessed and healed my uncle this week.

Give Thanks

Thank you Lord. My Uncle Donnie has done complete turn around. He is doing amazing his blood pressure is back to normal and the kidney problems he was having are doing much better.

Urgent Prayer Request

Please pray for my Uncle Donnie critical at this point. He was found by his wife today unconscious when she returned home. He has been having kidney failure.

Please pray for my cousin Jennifer husband his name is Reed. His body is rejecting a kidney transplant he had a few years back.

One Day at a Time

I am so sorry I haven't posted a lot lately. Mostly, prayer request and some songs that were on my heart.

The kids are back in school which I thought I was done with school. Let me tell you a mother education is never done. Always having to help with homework. I have been relearning fractions, direct object and indirect object. Just a brief list of what we have been learning this week.

Sometimes life just gets overwhelming. God has been so good to us though. I am still working part-time. My hubby is working full-time with more overtime than he or I desires trust me. We are making it one day at a time.

We all still need your prayers at our church. Wednesday evening was our first service officially without our pastor. Something how the finalization of it all he was now buried, but alive in Heaven with our Savior Jesus. We had a good turn out for the service just all of us with heavy, heavy hearts. Continue to remember our church as we go forward servicing our Lord.

Urgent Prayer Request

Our pastor Bro. Ralph is a very, very sick man. He is back in the hospital with kidney problems and pneumonia. The infection is spreading they said. He is on a ventilator. Please remember him in your prayers and family.
Also, a sweet lady in church lost her father on Sunday night. She had three brothers that where in the accident also and all were hurt. Her one brother is still in the hospital and is doing much better. This family really needs our prayers.

Back to Reality

The boys, my parents and myself just got back yesterday from the coast of South Carolina. We had a good time. I wish I was still on the the ocean though. The morning walks I really enjoyed.

Hello I'm Back

I guess you didn't really missed me did you?? Unfortunately, our computer got attacked by a virus a very bad one. We got our computer back today. Well, I am back I sure did miss talking to all of you and reading your blogs.

Well, if you love Hallmark ornaments the first batch of the ornaments are available tomorrow in your local Hallmark store.

VBS was a blast

Our oldest son agreed to go in the dunken booth. Our highest average for the week about 120 kids. We had at least 25 kids go forward for salvation. Please pray for the kids. Some were even our church kids.

Another Update

Can you believe usually on Wednesday nigh it is your lowest attendance for the week. We had 104 kids last night!! We have increased every night in our room. In fact, since we had 24 kids in my room we sent 5 of them to another room because they only had 9 kids. Please pray for souls to be saved tonight specifically at 7:30 we are setting this time for our preacher to talk to them.

Update on VBS

Well, I made it through the first day. I was told we had 79 kids. Our class had 17 the largest class there last nigt. We have a great bunch of kids. Pray that we have many souls saved this week. Come and join us if you can Morristown Baptist Tabernacle 6-8 each night we are having a carnival on Friday night. Lots of fun!!

Busy, Busy Busy

Well, what a week it seems I can never ever get anything done anymore. The bushes and the flower beds and the garden. Oh my oh my!!!! I am exhausted just typing all of this. It looks like we live in a jungle. Not to mention dishes and laundry. I need a maid and new a lawn service men. Yes, that's what I need.

This week we have been preparing for VBS at our church that is next week. We have been decorating our class rooms at church. Our topic for the week is..JONAH. I sure hope I never have to be swallow by a big fish for GOD to get my attention. We are teaching the 10-11 year old class. My hubby and I can relate we have sons that age. Well, keep me in your prayers because everyday next week I am working til 5 pm and then VBS start at 6 pm. Prayer I will need.

Anniversary continues

June 1st was our anniversary 15 yrs. We decided to take a few photos the last morning of our stay at the resort. We just love it there in the Carolina's I think these two states are just beautiful.

If you have never been to the Biltmore Estate you have got to go. This place is amazing my hubby comments as we walked through, " This is better than Dollywood". He is not a theme park lover he will go for the boys sake and mine.

At the resort we stay at you could fish with catch and release policy. Hubby caught a bass. I caught a blue gill.

This is a waterfall at the resort we stay at. This resort is called Highland Lake Inn in Flat Rock, NC.

They have animals on the property.

This is the peacock on the property he is loud mouth. He gets up in the hugh oak trees on the property as high as he can and trust me he is even louder while in the tree.

Our children have the God given opportunity to attend an private school. On Thursday evening our youngest son alone with his classmates sung this song it was such a blesses. He coming one day very soon but no man knows the hour or the day.

I have a question have you been to Biltmore Estates and did you enjoy it? My hubby and I are thinking about going in June.

Yard Sale

This dish will hold 3 quarts of veggies.

These are a set of Pfaltzgraff dishes I got. I was so excited to have these dishes which I could never purchase at a retail cost. I now have 12 matching plates also which I have always wanted. I think between everything I got there was approx. 80 pieces. You will not believe this and one person even asked me what kind of shot gun I was using to persuade these people with. Here it goes $25.00. No joke totally the truth. This particular set is called the York Town.

This only cost $3.00.

These are some great buys we got last week-end at a near by yard sale. Thank you Lord for all these savings this week. I am so blessed.
