New year arriving have any plan's?????????? What are some goals you would like to accomplish this year? What about some changes you need to make? What about some decisions you know God has been dealing with you about? What about this --- that is in the past and leave it there? Don't put off today what you can do tomorrow? We do not have promise of tomorrow so you better do it today. It seems ever message I heard yesterday whether in Super Church for the juniors and sermon brought by our pastor. "Live for today as if there is no tomorrow". Quotes from Bro. Jon and Bro Miller. That happened in the past let's forget about it and start a new day and a new year. A know a lot people suffered in 2012 lost of love ones(in our church alone three family members died in one week-father, husband and an aunt) and unemployment every where you turned. Ever obstacles and trials can be turn around in to a blessing from the Lord and that is if only if you allow God to turn your trial into a blessing. Let's move forward with a new year and decide we are going to be a witness with everyone we come in contact with to each and every person that God allows to close our path. Be a witness with your own testimony how you chose to deal with life will tell who you are living for.
Don't say things that you will regret and show disgrace to our Heavenly Father. Just example I experienced this week - Customer did not like our return policy told her ornament were exchange only this time of the year didn't like that answer even said" Well, then I am not going to shop here anymore". Even demanded to talk to the manager who was off work that day. Decided to exchange the ornament for another took and hour to decide on just one ornament I approached her once and asked if I can her help her decide. Then get this after she decided the lady exchanged for a Nativity Scene ornament. Hmmm!!! Her first reaction was not glorifying and honoring to our Savior.
Life journey in a nut shell
I honestly can't believe 2013 is on the arising. I remember thinking back to the year 2000 and dreading the changes in the upcoming year. We had just moved to Tennessee from Michigan in summer of 1999. Adam and I then only we moved in with my parents until we were establish and had dependable income again. I took a job in June in 1999 in Knoxville an Accounting/ Payroll position. He had a job working for temp agency for local factory six months and not hired permanently decided he better find a different job. So he took a permanent position with a factory 35 minutes from home. Then here we are again long commutes to work both of us. I was driving one direction and he was driving the opposite direction. Well, me I have changed jobs just a few times since then. He is still with the same company thirteen years later. He said I don't like change just stick with it. He's right it doesn't matter where you go you are never 100% satisfied. I am currently working for a franchise Hallmark store and have been now for three years in April boss said you are not going anywhere, but if she retires next year I don't want to deal with the changes. Lol!!
Our journey in Tennessee has been interesting to say the least in July 2004 we started taking in foster children. Well, by September we had went from 2 to 4 boys. Then back to three the next year in 2005. Hmm!! Then by the end of this year we had adopted three brothers. We now also have two godson which were the other boys we fostered. Which, we keep in touch weekly with lived in a near by state tried to see them at least once year sometimes twice a year. God has blessed us so much since then I have been able to worked part-time and still able to meet the bills and have some pleasure money. God has been so good to me more than I have ever deserved.
I am some great friends God has given me since we moved to Tennessee one being Ms. Debbie what a prayer warrior. If you have a prayer request and she will pray about for you. Another my current boss Ms. Cheryl which is more like a big sister to me. An angel God has sent into my life since I have worked for Hallmark is Ms. Louise ( a mall walker). When you see her walking she always has a little piece paper in her hand it is a scripture verse she is memorizing while walking. She will come in and see us and give us big hugs which I just cherish. She is such a blessing I tell her she is an angel sent from God. She is dear older lady whom is just beautiful inside and out.

Jesus the Reason for the Season!!!!!
It's not about the gifts and its not about amount of money you spend. It is all about spending time with our Heavenly Father and our loves ones (family time). Cherish the times you have together we never ever know when it will be the last year together. I am grateful for every mintue and moment I have with my family and friends.Please remember our church family this week. We have three church members that had a family
member passed away this week. We had a father, an aunt and a husband just this week in our congregation.

Remembering Connecticut
Today will a difficult day for families in Connecticut. The days to come will be overbearing and overwhelming for these families. Please take time to pray for them. Some people say why and how come the Lord would allow this to happen. I don't have the answers, but I know He cares for little children just like adults.
Matthew 19:13-15 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.
When I first heard about it on the internet the news media coverage on every website top headline news. My boys and I just gathered around the computer and read the article and watched the videos. It was so sad- it was depressing- it was scary. I couldn't do anything, but pray for these families. It was like reliving 9-11 to me. I was so heart broken for these families. If you have a heart at all you felt the same way. Take time to love your children today young or old. You never know when it will be the last time you can do this.

Life can get so "Hetic"
Just seem to have a lot on mind and heart lately. My heart has been heavy and burden for people this year. I am always telling my children that the decision they make today will affect their life tomorrow. I wish we all truly understood that. Actually, took heed to what these words are saying. I am not saying that only children or teenagers make bad decisions. I know that from first hand experience I have regretted some decision I have made both as a child and an adult. Sometimes I even find myself trying to have a burden for so many people church, work, friends and home. I think I can take it all on myself. The truth is I have to depend on my SAVIOR JESUS. I have to take it to HIM the only true solution to ever circumstance. Pray and pray for people to turn their life to JESUS CHRIST and let him take the wheel. I couldn't take this journey of life without HIM.
I have a friend whose eighteen year old daughter has made some very bad decisions for the past year now. I really have had them on my heart (praying and praying for the Lord to intervene). In October seen them at a local restaurant one Sunday evening. The father he was just wanting someone to listen people to pray for his daughter and her poor mother was just lost in thought so discouraged.
God is beginning to turn this around for the family and I know it is all the prayers that have been sent up. This month the daughter is coming around beginning to make better decisions please please pray that this year ends in a better year for them.
Parents remember to pray for your children daily throughout the day. I cannot say I do my best at this, but I sure to try.
Friends and family members are always telling me I have such a sweet spirit about myself. Actually, I guess I good at hiding my true feeling sometimes. I can say I learned a long, long, time ago only to speak when you are spoken to and then it will keep you out of trouble. In my cause it has helped keep me humble, so I can hear HIM my Lord speaking. I don't want to miss out on a opportunity to do something for the LORD to give him praise and all glory and honor.

Update on prayer request
My Aunt Brenda surgery was successful without complication. They were able to correct the problem with what is refer to as rational bypass which did not require open heart surgery. We are praising God for his healing touch praying for her recovery and return home soon.
Urgent Prayer Request
Please remember my Aunt Brenda she is having open heart surgery this week. She has to have open hearts surgery in the past. She began having pain last week in her chest. She is going to have to have calcium removed from behind her heart and she also has some blockage of calcium in her arteries. She is being taken to Cleveland Ohio for the surgery.

Memory of Pastor
It is hard to believe it has been a year today since our Pastor Ralph Benfield passed away. Thank you Lord for allowing him to a part of my life for over twenty years. We love and miss you so dearly.
Time for School
I can't believe it already time for school. Our boys are not excited no not either one of them. I told them a regular schedule is good for us all. They seem to be getting on each other nerves more this week. Maybe it is because school is starting for them next week. Most schools are already in session this week, but a few are delay a little longer by a week or longer. Please remember to pray for your childs teacher this year. We always seem to pray for our children. The teachers needs prayer also.

Update on our Son
I took our son to an neurologist the first of the month. To see if his fainting spells are something to be concern about. He did a few test in the office on him. The result are he is a healthy child. Just praying and hoping it is a condition he will outgrow. Which, most do by the time they are eighteen. Something has always seem to trigger the spells with him sickness or pain. His brother have been known to this also. He also told me that it is normal to run in families. The doctor we seen said he had the spells growing up as a child and so did is father.

Please pray for our son Kenny. He fainted at school today. He had lots of medical test ran today, but we have no immediate answer as to why. Right now we are at the stage of unknown. Trust me the unknown can be just as scary as the known.

Please remember my dad in your prayers he had an unexpected heart cath this morning. Went into emergency room last night with chest pain and high blood pressure. He had two of his small arteries blocked 90% which they did the balloon procedure on. He has to go on special diet with cholesterol medications.

Happy New Year!!! Looking back over 2011 would have to say it was a very fast year. I don't think I ever seen a year go by so fast. It was a difficult year for our church with the lost of our pastor. Our Lord and Saviour did help us through. We have been blessed with another good man of God to lead our church.
My hubby and I still are employed thank you Lord. We can look back and say we sure did worked a lot of hours in 2011. He certainly did for about three months during the fall months of year he stayed at worked it seemed.
We had a great Christmas. We were blessed with more than we needed.
As I go into this new year of 2012 Lord help me to be more thankful for my family that I still have on this earth with me. Lord help me to be a blessing to others through you.
