Thankful

We are so very thankful for all your prayers today for our little man Kenny. God showed his presence first thing this morning his room number was "7". The results will be sent to Mayo Clinic for evaluation to determine if his valve needs replaced or repaired. Just continue to keep him in your prayers. He done remarkable today he was a very brave and humble child.

God is with us

I was reading an article this week and I really thought this was good enough to pass on.
Just when everything around us seems to be falling apart and nothing seems to be going the way we have hope. Well, there is hope.

Possible

Possible- That may be or become true. That may come about or be done.
When you have doubts or fears open these scriptures to God's word and He will open your eyes to the truth.

Matthew 19:26

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible;

but with God all things are possible.

Jesus beheld them- to look on, to observe, to discern clearly

He wanted them to look directly at Him.

As a parent I do that with my children

you look at me when I am talking to you.

Mark 10:27

And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but

not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Promises

Can you say you have always kept your promises you have made? Does your walk correspond with your talk? People are watching you they notice whether you are living a lie or living the truth. Make this a priority to focus on the promises you make to others; to your spouse, to your children, to your boss, to your friends and what about your pastor. What about your promises to God?

Now, we all know sometimes things happen and promises are not able to be kept. But if it is possible then we need to keep those promises.

Romans 4:21

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

I was called on Wednesday night to see if I wanted to work on Thursday. Which the extra money could have been helpful. But I had made a promise to my mother that I would go to Knoxville with her on Thursday to the doctor. So I kept my promise and turn down the extra hours.

This is a little funny but I just heard one our boys say to a brother you are not suppose to break a promise.
